Choco Residence - Seoul

The room at Choco Residence was cozy and comfortable, with a TV, fan, and fridge to make my stay more convenient. It felt like a home away from home, perfect for a solo traveler like me.

Personally, I would have preferred if the room had a private shower instead of public shower facilities. But hey, that's just my opinion!

Gyeongbokgung palace is within a 10-minute drive away. Free parking is onsite. The location is adjacent to Hapjeong metro station. We loved our stay: )

Choco Residence in Hongdae is a great choice for accommodation. the location is excellent, being close to Hongik Uni Station and Sangsu Station. the manager, Eonnie, is extremely reliable and always available to answer queries and assist with luggage. the room may be small, but it has everything you need, including a comfortable bed, a work table, a mini fridge, and a closet. the friendly staff, comfortable bed, great WiFi, and convenient location make for a pleasant stay.

The perfect place for me! I keep coming back here with no regrets. The staff helped me find my lost bracelet on my first stay. Free Wi-Fi, dryer, cookware, shared kitchen, AC, adults only. Can't wait for Christmas!

I recently stayed at Choco Residence for a few nights during my solo trip to Seoul. The value for the money was unbeatable, with basic but comfortable rooms that had everything I needed. The wifi worked well and the hot shower was a great perk. The hotel's location was strategic, close to Hongdae shopping street and the metro station, making it easy to explore the city and also get to the airport. I felt safe as a woman traveler, thanks to the friendly owner and the overall safe environment. Plus, all the food shops were just a short walk away. Definitely recommend this hotel for solo travelers looking for a convenient and pleasant stay.

The location of Choco Residence was very nice! Being in the heart of Hongdae, I was able to easily explore the vibrant nightlife and enjoy delicious food and drinks just steps away. The proximity to the subway station made it convenient to explore the rest of Seoul. The friendly staff were really nice too make my stay pleasant, helping me with my heavy luggage and providing useful travel advice. Although the room was small, it was cozy and had everything I needed, including a TV and a fridge. I highly recommend Choco Residence for a nice stay in Seoul.

had an amazing time at this centrally located hostel in Hongdae. The super friendly staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The room was surprisingly spacious and had all the amenities we needed. The complimentary fruit and free kimchi were a nice touch. Can't wait to visit again.

This guesthouse in the heart of Hongdae is the cleanest I've stayed at in South Korea. The location is excellent, with plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby. The staff is friendly, helpful, and even waited for me past midnight to check-in due to a delayed flight. The room, though small, offers privacy and comes with a private bathroom. The shared kitchen, washing machine, dryer, and fridge in the room are all convenient amenities. the price-location-property ratio is near excellent.

had another amazing stay in seoul and was pleasantly surprised by how much choco residence exceeded my expectations. the owners were so friendly and even gave us free tangerines every morning. the location was perfect and the facilities were great, especially the free laundry service. will definitely choose this guesthouse again.
